A homeowner/occupant survey was sent out March 2017 to ellicit information about existing drainage and roadway deficiencies within the Pleasant Valley Subdivision. Its purpose was to ensure all deficiencies were addressed in the preliminary design study.
A community meeting was held on the evening of July 26th, 2017 at Wayland Baptist University. Postcards were sent out in June 2017 inviting all property owners and residents to participate in the meeting. The meeting gave the community an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed alternatives and to see how the project may affect their properties.

The fourth annual Anchorage Transportation Fair was held Thursday, February 8th from 3-7pm at the Alaska Airlines Center. This annual fair is an opportunity for the community to learn about ongoing and upcoming transportation projects in the Anchorage area. Pleasant Valley Subdivision Improvements had a booth and provided the below fact sheet and visuals.

A postcard was sent out two weeks prior to the meeting date inviting all property owners and residents to participate in the meeting. The meeting discussed the proposed alternatives selected and provided more information regarding the design and construction schedule.
